Treasure in earthen vessels:
The New Testament writer to the Hebrews talks about servants of God for whom this world is not worthy. Heb 11:35 Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. 37 They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.
As we endeavour to follow God in our western lives we often forget that this type of person still exists. Those who secretly serve the Living God in incredibly difficult circumstances. Some are nationals of countries who's regime in vehemently opposed to the Gospel others enter secretly and are used by God to encourage churches and individual Christians who endure great hardship and danger in the Name of Jesus. This blog is intended to draw attention to this worldwide group of brave individuals whose names can never be mentioned in this lifetime and whose service must never be published and whose incredible stories can not be seen in print in any way other in such generalities as can be found here. A second purpose is to raise the much needed support that allows these servants of the Most High to carry out their ministry and to support their just as brave families who are endangered as a result of their activities. If you would like to support these anonymous missionary servants please get in touch at the following email address mail@mission-international.org when we will send you details of how to give and how to pray.
